We envision a world of intent-driven individuals building purposeful communities and responsible organizations
Our Roots
The initial sprouts of F&V emerged in 2017 during a conversation with friends while sharing experiences cultivated by years of travel, transformational conversations, professional achievements and accompanying upsets, unconditional love and courageous healing.
Fueled by the felt need to dedicate time to what we value most, the idea grew and transformed to become F&V. We nurtured and formalized our coaching & consulting skills, expertise, and passion over the years, providing clarity into our experiences and the impact we strive to have on humankind and the business world.
After years of journeying, we began to live with more awareness and to notice similar questions reflected in our friends, coworkers, and family. A common vision emerged: a world of purposeful individuals living in intent-driven communities and responsible organizations.
Martin Vera
“I journey with individuals and businesses to change from the inside out”
Professional background - Martin began his career as a mechanical engineer working on military flight simulators, then transitioned to Paris to lead a sales team for luxury packaging solutions across Europe. He focused on operational improvements, systems automation, and team building. After completing his MBA at INSEAD in Singapore, Martin joined a healthtech startup as COO, overseeing product development, country expansion, and client development & relations. He later returned to the luxury packaging business to manage the London office while pursuing his coaching passion.
Upbringing - Martin is from the vibrant mixing-pot city of Montreal and was raised in a Polish & Chilean household. He pursued an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering where he greatly enjoyed the practicality of his studies. This was derailed when Martin was diagnosed with advanced Thyroid cancer at 22 years old and declared in remission 6 years later at 28. The experience left him with an altered perspective and with the need for something more than just engineering – the need to integrate and develop the human component in a professional setting.
Coaching - Drawing from his continued personal experiences as an INSEAD Leadership Consultant & Executive Coach and over 600 hours of combined training and coaching, Martin’s coaching curiosity ignites the discovery of:
Team Dynamics - using psychodynamic methods to uncover team dynamics (What is really going on here? What unconscious dynamics are steering the group? What world is the group creating and acting out in turn?)
Authentic Leadership - understanding personal, powerful, and authentic leadership styles unique to each (How do I show up as an authentic leader? What are my unique abilities to use? How am I viewed as a leader?)
Professional Alignment - understanding your career and path forward (What drives me? Where do I get energized? What are my natural strenghts?)
Martin is an INSEAD leadership consultant and executive coach, coactive certified professional coach (CPCC), PCC ICF accredited, and holds certifications in The Leadership Circle Profile (LCP), the iEQ9 Enneagram, Barret Values, and the Praditus psychometric assessment.
